MTG Arena Artisan Deck: Azorius Auras

Here’s another deck I’ve been playing in the Festival: Fires of Purphoros: Azorius Auras.

Key card: Staggering Insight. This aura gives you a card every time your creature gets through for damage and also grants lifelink.

The deck pairs this aura with evasive creatures to make sure you can get into that damage. All That Glitters pumps your creature so that it gets in for more and more lifelinking damage. Karametra’s Blessing and Alseid of Life’s Bounty protect your battleship.

You don’t have much interaction here, but you do have Dreadful Apathy to deal with any difficult creature threats and Heliod’ Pilgrim to fetch it (or any of the other auras) up. Unless you really can’t handle something they play, you are better off racing.

Pro-tip: if you really need to push through the last bit of damage, Alseid’s ability can be used offensively to grant protection and make your creature unblockable.
